Northwest Houston is located along I-45, about 25 miles north of Houston in unincorporated Harris County. The old farm to market road (what we now call FM 1960) that served the old German farming communities in the 19th century, now is a busy 7 lane road. It serves to unite the busy 1960 area. Northwest Houston is not really a town per se it is more of an area but the area has it all – outstanding retail facilities; fine hotels and restaurants; trees; golf courses and parks. The world-class Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is close. Hooks Airport, a private facility with full capabilities for corporate aircraft is also close. Beltway 8 and renovations to our major highways ensure increased mobility.

Houston’s Great Northwest has access to the cultural amenities of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion; the Symphony, Ballet, and Grand Opera; and The Centrum at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center, located on Cypresswood Drive.

Professional sports – baseball, hockey, soccer, the Rockets and Comets basketball teams, and the new Houston Texans top the list for sports entertainment. With two premier sporting facilities, beautiful Minute Maid Park, home of the Astros; and Reliant Stadium, the home of the Texans. Sam Houston Race Park is the cornerstone of additional recreational opportunities.
