Education in Spring TX

Spring covers a large geographic area and does not have official boundaries since it is unincorporated. The Spring area covers three different school districts. To the east of I-45 in Harris county you will find Spring ISD. To the west of I-45 also in Harris county is Klein ISD and to the north in Montgomery county is Conroe ISD.

Lone Star College District provides for the academic and continuing education needs of our area. Its innovative University Center classrooms provide students the opportunity, through telecommunication advances, to obtain degrees from participating institutions such as Texas A”&”M, Prairieview A”&”M, Sam Houston State University, Texas Southern University, and the University of Houston.

Lone Star Montgomery College was completed in 1995. The campus is located on more than 110 acres of pine forest, between The Woodlands and Conroe, Texas. Part of the fast-growing North Harris Montgomery Community College District (NHMCCD).
